Since the weather has kept us indoors for quite some time, we've been doing a variety of movement activities including yoga. The children have been risk-takers when they tried the different poses. Furthermore, we've been incorporating chime time in our day. When we listen to the chime, we close our eyes and breathe in through our nose and out through our mouths. We even imagine that we are inflating a balloon. Chime time promotes mindfulness which helps calm us down, focus better and make better decisions.
