Learner Profile: Thinkers and Principled
To get the children thinking about our classroom learning environment and how our routines and systems help us in our daily school life we took out our schedule cards one day. Our students immediately noticed that they were gone and this prompted our discussion on why and how the schedule on the board helps us with our daily learning. The children shared the following:
-"If we don't have a schedule then we don't know what we're doing next."
- "Maybe, we won't have snack time."
-" We don't know when it's time to go to music or P.E."
Starting next week, we will be visiting the different learning environments in our school.
